TD Banknorth Garden (which was renamed TD Garden in July 2009) was built in the 1990s and is often referred to simply as Boston Garden or The Garden. Previously known as the Fleet Center it has been the home arena for the Boston Bruins and the Boston Celtics as well as the Boston Blazers for many years. TD Garden has also played host too many other events such as the 2004 DNC, NHL, NBA, NCAA, WWF, WWE, and NLL along with the Boston Beanpot since 1954! TD Garden sits on top of Boston’s North Station (an MBTA station) with direct access to and from the Orange Line and the Green Line. A large expansion was built for the North Station Concourse recently which added a host of wonderful traveler comforts. TD Garden doesn’t only play host to sporting events, they also host many fun and exciting family shows, concerts and conventions!
