Terms and Conditions

Sentinel Limousine

Billing

  • Sentinel Limousine executive drivers are prohibited from soliciting tips/gratuities.
  • Additional charges will be itemized on the customer’s billing statement when applicable (e.g. tolls, parking, airport and regulatory fees, fuel charge, cell phone, requested items, tax/VAT, etc.).
  • All published rates are subject to change without notice.
  • All rates are calculated in the local currency and billed in U.S. dollars at the prevailing exchange rate.
  • Due to fluctuating currency exchange rates, U.S. dollar equivalents of international rates may vary.
  • Applicable taxes will be charged as required.
  • Holiday surcharges may apply on trips occurring on recognized holidays in the market where the transportation is taking place.
  • Late-night/early-morning surcharge of $20.00 applies to all pickups scheduled between 23:00 and 04:59 in the time zone the reservation is taking place.

Flat-Rate Rides

  • Sentinel Limousine has standardized transfer rates that provide flat rate pricing for travel to and from most major cities and airports.
  • Waiting time is defined as the length of time that elapses between a scheduled pickup and a passenger getting into the reserved vehicle. After a fifteen (15) minute grace period on all flat-rate trips that do not begin at an airport, there is a ½ hour charge for any time greater than 15 minutes. Rides with a wait time greater than 30 minutes will incur an additional hour of wait time at the rate of the vehicle rented.
  • For rides that begin at an airport, there is a ½ hour charge for waiting time after a thirty (30) minute grace period for domestic arrivals and a forty-five (45) minute grace period for international arrivals. Charges will continue to accrue by the ½ hour. Based on the vehicles prevailing hourly rate.
  • Passenger-requested stops on route during a flat-rate trip will be charged at $15.00 base for sedans, and $25.00 base for all other vehicles.
  • Passenger-requested stops off-route during a flat-rate trip will be charged the prevailing hourly rate.

Time-Based Rides

  • Rates for travel between locations in which a point-to-point rate does not exist will be billed at the prevailing Sentinel Limousine hourly rate.
  • Customers are billed from the time the vehicle leaves the Sentinel Limousine facility until the time it returns to the Sentinel Limousine facility, with an hourly minimum based on vehicle type.
  • Time-based charges are billed in 30-minute increments.

Change, Cancellation, and No-Show Policy

PLEASE NOTE: Certain US Markets (including but not limited to the markets of Martha’s Vineyard, Hamptons, and Vail, as examples) will have different cancellation policies. Seasonal markets, market conditions, special events (i.e. Super Bowl), and specialty vehicles (i.e. buses) will have a longer advance cancellation notice. All modifications mutually agreed upon in writing or communicated and confirmed at the time of reservation or in advance of the pickup date, either verbally or in writing, will supersede the below standard cancellation policy. To avoid late cancellation charges, please confirm the specific cancellation policy for your trip at the time of booking.

Standard Change, Cancellation, and No-Show Policy:

  • Cancellation charges equal to the total cost of the trip, or the vehicle minimum price of the trip, whichever is greater, plus all additional applicable fees, will apply unless:
  • Markets within the contiguous United States:
  • Sedans, sports utility vehicles, and limousines are changed or canceled more than two (2) hours, twenty-four (48) hours for vans or limousines, prior to the scheduled pickup time, in the time zone the reservation is taking place. Unless otherwise noted.
  • Coordinators are changed or canceled more than forty-eight (48) hours prior to the scheduled pickup time, in the time zone the reservation is taking place. Unless otherwise noted.
  • Minibus and motor coaches are changed or canceled more than seventy-two (72) hours prior to scheduled pickup time, in the time zone the reservation is taking place. Unless otherwise noted.
  • In all markets located outside the contiguous United States:
  • Sedans, sports utility vehicles, vans, and limousines are changed or canceled more than twenty-four (48) hours prior to the scheduled pickup time, in the time zone the reservation is taking place. Unless otherwise noted.
  • Coordinators are changed or canceled more than forty-eight (48) hours prior to the scheduled pick-up time, in the time zone the reservation is taking place. Unless otherwise noted.
  • Minibus and motor coaches are changed or canceled more than seventy-two (72) hours prior to scheduled pick-up time, in the time zone the reservation is taking place. Unless otherwise noted.
  • For flat-rate transfers, a no-show charge equal to the total cost of the trip, plus any applicable waiting time fee, plus all other applicable fees, will be charged when the passenger(s) fails to arrive at the designated location or fails to call Sentinel Limousine if having difficulty finding their executive driver. To avoid a no-show fee, call (401) 434-2700 if you cannot locate your vehicle or executive driver.
  • For time-based reservations, a no-show charge equal to the total cost of the trip, or the vehicle minimum price of the trip, whichever is greater, plus all other applicable fees, will be charged when the passenger(s) fails to arrive at the designated location or fails to call Sentinel Limousine if having difficulty finding their executive driver. To avoid a no-show fee, call (401) 434-2700 if you cannot locate your vehicle or executive driver.


Again, the above cancellation terms represent the standard policy at Sentinel Limousine and may be modified from time to time based on the market, desired reservation dates, and vehicle availability. All modifications mutually agreed upon in writing or communicated and confirmed at the time of reservation or in advance of the pickup date, either verbally or in writing, will supersede the above standard cancellation policy.

Additional

  • Quotes will be provided upon request. All quotes provided are to be considered estimates only, and actual charges will be determined upon the completion of the service.
  • In no event will Sentinel Limousine or its affiliate partners, be liable or responsible for damages of any kind caused by any delay in performance or failure to perform, caused by circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to, weather, natural disaster, traffic, act of God, act of war or terrorism, act of any public authority or sovereign government, or any other circumstances beyond the reasonable control.
  • Sentinel Limousine and its affiliate partners assume no responsibility for lost or damaged baggage, personal belongings, or any items left in the vehicle.
  • Sentinel Limousine does provide child safety seats, for a $25.00 fee. Parents and guardians of children traveling in Sentinel Limousine vehicles are responsible for installing child safety seats provided, in accordance with state and federal laws.
  • The following items are prohibited from Sentinel Limousine vehicles: alcoholic beverages (except limousine), glass containers (except limousine), smoking, firearms, weapons of any kind, explosives, and fireworks.
